In the Fall 2022 term, the Archer Library & Archives team partnered with Sherry Farrell-Racette’s ARTH 320 class and 4th year student, Marnie Archer, to curate an exhibition of items reproduced from the Archives’ Mary Filer collection. The collaboration provided students with a unique opportunity to engage first-hand with the challenges and rewards of archival research and “real time” curatorial work. All students selected one piece from the 4500+ piece Filer collection and prepared an associated extended label for the show. The results of the students’ efforts were displayed in Archer’s Archway Exhibit Space in 2022-23 and are presented in this companion digital exhibit.
