- One from a group of five volcano paintings. Writing on the back of some of the works indicate that Mary was basing her images on Quebec's Mont Saint Bruno. Mary's notes on the back of this piece read 'Ice Age descending / advancing on Mt. Bruno.' The volcano is shown dormant and covered in snow.
