I joined the Archer Library team in November 2022 as Library User Services Assistant. However, I was already a familiar face to many as I began my career here as a Student Assistant in 2019. As a student I spent many hours at the microfilm machine, pouring through hundreds of newspaper articles for my research.

In 2023 I graduated with a Masters in History from the University of Regina. I also hold Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and History. As a student, I had the opportunity to serve the campus community in various capacities such as: Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, Writing Tutor, and Student Ambassador. Prior to my current role, I also worked off-campus at the Regina Public Library as a Public Service Clerk. I am excited to continue to serve the library and University community through my work at the Dr. John Archer Library & Archives.

I love helping students, and at User Services I am able assist students in a wide variety of ways, with my personal experience as a student being a big asset in this regard. I also love books and reading and have been an active member in the Archer Book Club since the lockdown days of the Covid-19 pandemic. I recently joined the Anti-Oppression Book Club as well, and I always look forward to the stimulating and engaging discussions we have at each of the meetings.

My experience as a student at the University of Regina was a very positive and welcoming one. It is my hope that through my interactions with library patrons, I will provide that positive experience for others.
